A June 13 obituary of Florence Holmes reported she was raised on a homestead on Sullivan Island. Holmes’ family spent less than a year on Sullivan Island in 1923. Her family homesteaded at Lutak. A July 25 story about the KHNS fund-raising marathon incorrectly reported its dates as July 21-18. It was June 21-28.
