The Chilkat Valley News provides professional reporting on the issues that matter to the residents of Haines, Tlákw.aan (Klukwan) and the Upper Lynn Canal. We’ve been in publication since since Jan. 3, 1966, and are proud to be the independent newspaper of record. We publish 50 weeks a year and take an annual winter break.
