A small but lively group of gardeners swapped seeds at the library March 22. Thanks to Mardell Gunn and other master gardeners, lots of seeds and knowledge were exchanged. I even found packets of okra seed.

Dolphins ready to make splash in fundraiser
The Haines Dolphins swim team’s Swim-a-Thon, the largest fundraiser of the year, is Saturday, March 31. Swimmers collect pledges for each length of the pool they swim during a two-hour period.
