Troopers and the state Division of Forestry were advised of a man cutting down trees near the Letnikof boat harbor.

Officers responded to a domestic violence assault call on Small Tracts Road and arrested a 42-year-old man for assault in the fourth degree. Alcohol was believed to be a factor.
