Eben Sargent has a lot of community growth and well-being objectives in common with current assembly members and other candidates, which is a good start. But where Eben stands out is his focus on making impartial decisions based on the evidence and the process already set forth in borough charter and code. 

In meetings of the planning commission, he is often the one who brings clarity to what the commission is charged to do, cutting through the distractions of ideological viewpoints. Eben is clearly most interested in making the most of the resources and time for the benefit of the borough. Eben’s focus, attention to detail and positive attitude toward the community, have earned him our votes on Oct. 7.
