This Secretary of the Board of the Four Winds Resource Center would like to thank the planning commission for their decision to hold a future meeting at our facility, in order to view the property and speak directly to our board and community members regarding the Mosquito Lake School sale.
The Four Winds Resource Center at the Mosquito Lake School is a place where all are welcome. If you’re hungry, we will feed you and teach you how to grow your own food; if you lack community, we welcome you with arts and crafts nights and yoga and much more!
I am also more than just the Secretary of the Board: I am the Victory Garden Coordinator, which is one of two paid employees (by a non-profit!) to help increase food security to the Upper Chilkat Valley at the Victory Garden. I started by volunteering last year, and it healed my relationship with food and with myself.
