Thank you to everyone who cheered for, participated in, or helped organize the high school cross-country team’s 5k run fundraiser last Saturday! Special shout out to those who donated prizes – Peterson’s Pretzels and The Rusty Compass — and Haines Brewing Company for the root beer. You rock! The sun even came out to support everyone and bring smiles to our faces. The team is so lucky to have this community as part of its support system and is ready to represent Haines at Region V this Saturday!
