Reading a recent CVN I was dismayed to see the response from Jan Hill when the mayoral candidates were asked to say something nice about their opponent. Tom responded by acknowledging his opponent in a positive way but Jan did not. If a candidate can’t display a kind and open attitude on a simple question like that, how will they respond when things get emotional or tense?
Tom Morphet has my vote for Mayor. He has worked hard for this community and is always seeking out the opinion of others. He knows how to listen and he knows how to recognize the good in everyone, even if he doesn’t always agree with them. Our community needs more of that.
