Words seem immeasurable to the gratitude we feel for this town. The support, love, compassionate empathy and listening ear that was gifted during this landslide tragedy was profound. We thought Haines was the bee’s knees, but now it’s heaven on earth. What is even more striking was the influence and spread of kindness far and wide. The generosity of heart magnifies itself in a way that people were helping financially, spiritually, and consciously, transforming the imprint of our small town. Understanding that where we personally suffer is not meant to be isolated and the healing, ‘medicine’, and tools show up effortlessly because the seed was planted here. That’s how big your love is. We felt that. And even though we want to say every name, thanking every person personally, we can’t. It’s impossible, so we surrender to this bigger knowing that you feel it, beyond words. We love you, each of you, dearly. Thank you for making space for us to live again.

In gratitude,
