A person dropped off a confused elderly man at the police station. The officer on duty took the man to the home of the man’s son.
A person contacted an officer near the intersection of Third Avenue and Haines Highway and said they had found a child wandering in the road. The child’s family was located nearby.
A caller reported juveniles on the Port Chilkoot Dock. An officer responded and warned the juveniles not to go on the dock.
A person reported hearing a domestic dispute at a Deishu Drive residence. An officer responded but only found someone arguing loudly on the telephone.
An officer told campers at a Mud Bay Road beach to douse a campfire because of the burn ban.

A caller reported a possibly injured dog on Main Street. The Haines Animal Rescue Kennel responded.
A person reported a black lab on Lutak Road near Picture Point. HARK was advised.
Multiple callers reported phone lines not working correctly. An officer reported someone had felled a tree on the utility lines on Mud Bay Road. Alaska Power and Telephone responded.
Juneau Weather Service reported dry conditions and high winds, causing the police chief to impose a burn ban.
A caller reported children longboarding near 16 Mile Haines Highway. Troopers responded.

A caller reported a dog running loose near Allen Road. HARK was advised.
A Mathias Avenue resident requested extra patrols.
A Haines Highway resident asked for help scaring away coyotes near her residence. Wildlife troopers were advised.
A caller complained of an abandoned vehicle at the Southeast Alaska State Fairgrounds parking lot. An officer put a notice on the vehicle, which was moved later that day.
A Beach Road residence asked for help dealing with possible credit card fraud.
An anonymous caller asked for an investigation into thefts in the Deishu Drive area.
A single-vehicle accident occurred at 9 Mile Haines Highway when the vehicle’s tire blew out, causing the vehicle to glance the guardrail.
An officer contacted the owner of a vehicle abandoned on Tower Road. The owner was given two weeks to move the vehicle.
Dispatch provided help to a motorist who needed a car towed from 25 Mile Haines Highway.
A caller complained about an unattended controlled burn on Lutak Road. Dispatch contacted a resident who had a burn permit. He reported he was monitoring the burn and had a hose present.
A caller reported a fuel spill at the Small Boat Harbor. Officers responded and spoke with a boat owner and the assistant harbormaster, who said approximately three gallons of fuel had spilled earlier in the day and steps had been taken to mitigate the spill. Dispatch created a required report for the Coast Guard, and advised troopers.
A caller asked for help with a sick dog. Dispatch provided a phone number for Pet Emergency Inc. of Anchorage.

A public employee reported an abandoned vehicle on public property near the skate park on Sawmill Creek Road. An officer left a 72-hour impound notice.
A caller reported lost property, including a checkbook.
A person turned in a bag found in their garbage can that contained possible drug-related paraphernalia. An officer examined the property.
Two callers complained about four-wheelers on the Chilkat River beach and tidal flats along Mud Bay Road. An officer couldn’t find the four-wheelers.
A caller complained about a driver blocking a road on Helm’s Loop. An officer responded and the owner moved the vehicle.
A traffic stop resulted in a warning for failure to stop at a stop sign.
