A caller reported two people walking with kegs on Small Tracts Road. Officers made contact and determined the people had permission to take the kegs.

A caller reported loud music from a residence on Oslund Drive.
A caller reported noxious fumes from a controlled burn on Union Street. Officers determined they were not burning anything that wasn’t permitted.
A caller reported gunshots on Lutak Road.
A citizen reported street signs pushed over on Union Street and 1 Mile Haines Highway.

A caller reported a tow hitch cover was stolen on Main Street.
A citizen reported receiving an unwanted telephone call. The number was traced.
A caller reported a minor consuming alcohol at a party on Comstock Road. Officers responded but found no basis for the complaint.
Saturday, June 24
A business reported planned blasting on Front Street.
A non-resident requested a message be relayed to a resident. Police were unable to relay the message.
A citizen reported smoke on FAA Road. Officers responded and determined it was likely from woodstoves.
Sunday, June 25
A cell phone found on Front Street was returned to the owner.
A caller reported an injured raven at the fairgrounds. The message was relayed to the American Bald Eagle Foundation.
A caller reported an overdue guest. Police contacted the guest’s coworker and determined they were out of town.
Monday, June 26
Police assisted the Skagway Police Department.
A caller requested assistance locating the registered owner of a vehicle parked in a private parking lot near 1 Mile Haines Highway. The registered owner was contacted.
Police made six traffic stops, four 911 hang-ups, nine medical and six canine calls.
