On behalf of my family, we are grateful for this compassionate community. When something tragic happens in this small town, everyone is ready to lend a helping hand, which makes me feel so proud that I grew up here. We really want to thank the Haines Volunteer Fire Department for their hard work and care. The house is damaged, but our things were salvageable thanks to them. We’d also like to thank the American Red Cross for all their help and support. And lastly, we want to thank all the great folks who have offered their help and support.
