I was disgusted to read the article regarding John Dear and furious to find out that he was allowed to speak in school without notification to parents. He touts being arrested 75 times as well as spending a year in jail as something to be proud of, and then has the audacity to come here and blather his liberal ideology. I personally take offense at not only his misguided and ignorant view of reality, but his hate-America-first disease that is spreading over our country and his disrespect for the soldiers fighting for his right to be an idiot. America is a noble country! America has spent more blood and money on humanitarian efforts than any country!
I imagine he hated Ronald Reagan because Reagan believed in a strong military. His philosophy was “Peace through Strength” and he ended the Cold War. The Berlin Wall came down. Now let’s look at our president, one with ideology more akin to Dear, with the exception of drones, of course. One like Carter, only worse. Russia and all the other oligarch countries have lost any respect for America and they know he has no spine to deal with them. Do we have peace now? No, we have Iran, soon to acquire a nuclear weapon. Will they be responsible with nuclear capabilities? They will wage war on our ally, Israel. These are facts, not the land of theory as John Dear lives in.
Dear John, why don’t you go preach peace to the Iranian government?
