A caller reported a person was possibly in violation of a protective order after seeing the person’s car parked around a downtown street corner.

Sunday, March 27

A caller reported suspicious people messing around with a boat by the ferry terminal. An officer responded and found the owners were preparing their boat for transport.

A caller reported being out of water on Oslund Drive. Public works was advised.

A person came in to report an unattended campfire on Mud Bay Road. The campers still were in the area and returned to extinguish the fire.

A caller reported someone had written vulgar language on the door of their Main Street business.

A caller reported running over a stop sign with construction equipment at Willard Street and Second Avenue.

Thursday, March 24

A caller reported family members who were known to cause problems for an elderly relative had returned to town. An officer was advised, but the family members apparently left the next day.

Tuesday, March 22

A caller reported a juvenile runaway. The juvenile was located at a friend’s house and returned home.

A caller reported a person was burning garbage on Deishu Drive. The fire department was advised, and the burn was done legally.

An owner claimed a lost wallet.

A caller reported two cars being driven recklessly at Fort Seward. An officer responded and didn’t find vehicles that matched the caller’s description.

There were 18 medical calls and four calls about dogs.
