onth of heavy rains and high winds but we have enjoyed bright sunshine and warm breezes this year. Economists are claiming that we are in a financial crisis yet we weather the storm and make hay when the sun shines. I have heard many people say that Haines faces an uncertain economic future while many are working hard and making a life for themselves here. When the time comes we embrace the chance to enjoy life and work towards a more positive future. I have learned that tenacity and compassion are required to be a part of this wonderful place and fully support those who consistently take an active role in the future of our town. Karen Hess has dedicated herself to Haines for over twenty years and weathered the many storms with a firm commitment to the quality of life we all enjoy. Write in Karen Hess for assembly seat E and let a little light shine on the future of Haines.
