Steve Vick and Greg Goodman have served Haines with distinction. As a borough assemblyman, Steve has brought a thorough and thoughtful approach to a difficult job. I have been impressed with his grasp of detail and the obvious hard work he does in preparing for meetings. Steve does his homework and arrives at meetings ready to contribute. As coach of the Haines Dolphins swim team, he has brought a high level of skill to the job of training kids in the rewards of self-discipline and fair play as well as developing their athletic skills. Greg Goodman was chief of police for many years and exercised excellent judgment in one of the most high-profile jobs in Haines. He was unfailingly fair and careful in this role and the department functioned smoothly and effectively under his leadership. For these reasons, I will vote for these two candidates in the upcoming election and urge you to do the same.
