Parents of a 17-year-old girl who left town Aug. 3 without permission caught up with her the same day at the Juneau airport, according to Haines police.
The girl had used a credit card shared with parents to buy a flight to Missouri, where the family recently lived.
The girl took a catamaran ferry to Juneau Friday morning, when her family believed she was at work. She’d left the family a note, saying that she’d moved back south, police said.
