The Alaska Department of Transportation is soliciting design proposals for new shuttle ferries to service Lynn Canal communities.
The Alaska Marine Highway System is seeking two identical boats to be used as shuttle ferries between Auke Bay and Haines and Haines and Skagway and has budgeted nearly a million dollars for the design phase.
