Pilot Paul Swanstrom took a photo of a large landslide that dumped debris across Rainbow Glacier. He took the photo Monday, Aug. 23. It’s unclear when the slide occurred, but Alaska Avalanche Center director Erik Stevens said they think it happened earlier this summer.
