KHNS congratulates (again) our news director, Margaret Friedenauer. Margaret placed second in Best Daily News Program in Alaska, just behind statewide APRN – Mazel Tov! The news department also brought home a third in Best Breaking News Story for the report on the fishing tender Neptune.

In addition to KHNS and the Chilkat Valley News, the Skagway News also took home awards. We congratulate everyone on their superb journalism and service to our communities.
