I want everyone to know that my name is Betty DeWitt, the wife of Charles M. DeWitt, and I will be that until the day I die. Charles and I were happily married and he was such a blessing to me. I loved him dearly. I called him each evening and we prayed and I spent at least a week with him each month. Charles would wake me at night and sing to me. I know he is in a better place with the Lord. In memory of my husband, I am beating the drum at the Salvation Army, for he was their drummer. I will miss him forever. I want to thank everyone for being so thoughtful with their cards and letters and their hugs and flowers. Thank you all and God bless you all. Betty DeWitt
