Richard Clement and Gabe Thomas have worked hard for the community this past year amid many critical decisions including a budget shortfall and failing infrastructure. There have been accusations that they have done nothing about the Lutak Dock. This is far from the truth. They have worked diligently to clean up the mess and the lawsuit left by the 2024 assembly, saving Haines millions of dollars. We are now in a position to move forward. The economics are different and we will need informed and actual expertise to move this critical project onward in a responsible fashion. Both men have intimate knowledge of the project and both have the real life experience of working on large-sized contracted projects.
Richard has shown his willingness to listen to the community. The assembly decided to sell the Mosquito Lake School building and property. After visiting and listening to the Upper Valley community, he now realizes the energy and commitment they have for the facility and is willing to work with them to keep it going.
Gabe, a multi-generational member of the community, grew up here and has many relatives, young and old, living here. His decisions reflect what will be good for them and the rest of the population.
The only responsible choices for assembly are Richard Clement and Gabe Thomas. They are thoughtful, open-minded, experienced, committed to all age groups and people in the valley, and will make the best decisions going forward. Vote Clement and Thomas.
