It has come to my attention that a Trump flag is waving in between two trees that, while actually on my neighbors’ property, is close enough to the property line for people to believe I am the flag-waver. 

Nothing could be further from the truth. While I respect my neighbors’ right to their opinion on who they prefer to run our country, it is my right to disagree with that opinion. 

For the record, I have neither support nor respect for what Trump stands for due to reasons I cannot express within the 250 words allowed for a letter to the editor. 

Nevertheless, that is my opinion and I expect that those who disagree with that opinion still respect my right to my opinion as I do for yours. Thank you.
