Referring to Chilkat Valley News, July 24, 2025, Assembly Briefs, cell towers, page 3: “pressure… from companies that say the borough has a legal imperative to review permits in a timely fashion.”

I’m here to ask — please show me where this ‘legal imperative’ exists and please tell me who wrote it? Please tell me if this “authority” has anything to do with the local government here in Haines, and/or with the government of the state of Alaska?  Please tell me where and when we agreed to this legal imperative?

I’m here to say — that while it might be socially polite to respond in a timely fashion, my sense is that you’re offering technology that you cannot prove does not cause harm, injury, illness.  And from there, natural law allows me/us to take all the time we want and need in order to know how to respond to your offer.

Additionally, 5G also advances the goals of the builders of the control grid. Not only is our health jeopardized by your towers, also our status as free men and women living on and with this Earth is jeopardized.

The owners and employees of 5G tower companies take their work much more lightly than we the people of Haines do.  We’re very serious about clarifying our best response to your offer.  The group that is our local government requires time to get to that level of clarity.

Thank you,  Evelyna Vignola
