The October 1st election is coming right up and I hope you will join me in voting for Natalie Dawson and Nora Zimmerly. Natalie has been an outstanding assembly person. She works incredibly hard to understand complicated issues, insists on getting clear answers before moving forward, and has seriously increased our collective understanding of what’s going on in our community. Nora is smart and a hardworking member of our fishing community. She is really committed to trying to find a solution to the housing challenges that prevent so many younger workers from settling in Haines year-round. Supporting both Nora and Natalie is a way to ensure our assembly continues with effective and dedicated leadership from people who care about the health of our home and the integrity of the community as a whole.
