Paul and Erica Carrington traveled with their 4-yea r-old Drew Carrington to Southcentral Alaska for, among other things, the Alaska State Fair and a Whiskey Myers show there. They traveled with friends Clayton and Des Jones whose son Lawrence is Drew’s age. They spent a few days in Anchorage, a day in Palmer and a day at the Alyeska lodge in Girdwood.They also traveled with babysitter Ila Nettleton.
Haines High School Junior Colton Combs’ successful ram hunt was featured on hunting gear and apparel brand Kuiu’s social media. According to the post, Colton put many miles and about 12,000 vertical feet into taking down an 8-year-old ram at 35 yards on the last day of youth season.
