Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers for Haines Friends of Recycling during the Fair. We had six trailers of compost that went to gardeners. The recycling trailer was filled twice, for a total of 16 super sacks of aluminum, plastic, and tin cans. And there was lots of cardboard and #2 plastic. An amazing amount of materials was kept out of the landfill.
