A huge “Thank You” to all of the volunteers, 15 on Friday and 15 on Saturday, and staff both days for helping with our 2023 Electronic Recycling event.

This year we had 96 separate deliveries of electronics, with Klukwan counting as one delivery. We collected 10,192 pounds of electronics, including 4 pounds after we closed on Saturday. Our total for 17 years, beginning in 2007, is 233,693 pounds of electronics collected for recycling.

Besides all the efforts with electronics, our volunteers also did maintenance of the grounds at the Recycling Center and a lot of work in scrap metal and high value metal preparation.

So thank you, everyone! Haines Friends of Recycling is effective because of wonderful volunteers like you!
