A Subaru Forester weighs over 3,500 pounds. A bicycle weighs 25 pounds. On Saturday, June 17, hundreds of bicyclists will ride into town. They’ll pass the Y, the school, turn right on Second Avenue, then cross Mud Bay Road to finish at the Barracks.
Please use caution with your vehicles when you see bicyclists. The riders will be tired and need your help for a safe finish. This has not happened since 2019, so please use caution and welcome the hundreds of riders and support folks to Haines.
