In the sense of pulling folks together for our S.E. Alaskan Fair, having a “Drag Queen” show is not one of them. Sure it may get lots of laughs, jeering and maybe a few “cat calls” from the Beer Fest folks, but then it may generate just the opposite.
Is this really needed within a family-oriented annual fair? Socially accepted is not morally right.
People are drawn to Alaska by the unique rugged and beautiful…
