On behalf of the High School Art Club and myself, I wanted to send out a special thank you to the Chilkoot Indian Association and Constantine Metal Resources for financially contributing to our trip to Seattle earlier this month. Your support went straight towards bringing students down to Seattle and onto college campuses, which is invaluable! I also wanted to thank Garrett at the Port Chilkoot Distillery for hosting our Pottery Sale this past March— all of those pottery proceeds also went directly towards the trip. I am personally grateful for all the community members who have reached out to me over the past several months expressing their support, not only of our young artists, but also encouraging the Art Club and the travel programs I envisioned. The trip was very successful and went incredibly smoothly. I will definitely be advocating for more arts and culture travel for our young adults in the future. Thank you.
