If anyone attended the recent benefit at the A&B Hall last Saturday Nov. 6 for Carol Mitchell, thank you for coming. Unfortunately, there were a number of items sold that were not intended for sale. I shall list what I can recollect, just to name a few of what surely appears to be lost or missing.
The first was a number of art books, any of the how-to books, the art and design books and including the series of Dover Books all containing illustrations. These art books represent a lifetime of continued use.
Next there was a series of original prints and original photographs produced and collected from a rare printer that no longer exists. It was a careful collection and very treasured. I would appreciate my work being returned to me.
Also, any brushes or other paints or materials, or any number of calligraphy supplies. There were several boxes of 11” x 18” paper; the boxes were larger and labeled “Calphalon.” Also any reams of 8.5” x 11”. Please return them, they are required materials for my work.
If you purchased any coconut oil, that too was not for sale.
And last, the various treasured old objects from my childhood Christmas collection. What more is there to say? Have a heart. You will, of course, be refunded quickly. You can contact me most days past the lunch hour at (907) 314-0779 or leave a message.
Thank you,
Carol Mitchell
