Elections, COVID, not enough firewood in the woodshed, and snow already creeping down Ripinski. These last few weeks, as the pressures of the season and political climate are rising in our community, I have found myself escaping from the anxiety of all that is by reading Austin Neil’s poetically comedic Facebook Buy-Sell-Trade ads. A basket (bike included!), an Amish electric heater that could probably be ridden, and houseplants that tend to party on weekends, are just a few of his writings that have brought a smile to my face. Austin, thank you for the effort you have put into those posts. You have brought much joy and levity to your readers, and I hope you keep writing!
