A recent application to fill in some of the tidelands along Front and Union Street has been filed with the Army Corp of Engineers.  This involves the discharge of 13,800 cubic yards of fill below the High Tide Line of Portage Cove for the purpose of expanding a land pad to erect a Commercial Boat Storage building.
