Alaska’s only veneer plant holds open house
Alaska’s only veneer plant was on display Saturday when the Schnabel Lumber Co. and Westward Timber Products held open house. Bad weather dampened the occasion–Gov. Keith Miller was prevented from flying in to attend the dedication of the new plant.
