Social distancing didn’t stop eight young hikers from celebrating their ascent of Mount Ripinsky on July 11. From left, Cora and Wesley Hoffman, George Shove, Makayla Henry, Asher Jimenez, C.C. and Ivy Elliott and Ryker Eggleston, ages 8 to 11, were accompanied by dogs Jada, Fern and Charlie. It was the second time to the top for C.C. and Ivy, and Asher. It was the first time for the rest of the group. Moms Renee Hoffman, Alissa Henry, Sierra Jimenez and Sarah Elliott accompanied the energetic hikers.
