Pretzels back on the menu for Haines
Peterson’s Pretzels is winding its way back to Haines this summer for the foreseeable future, said owner Chris Peterson.
Peterson and his pretzel trailer became stranded in Haines last summer when ferry workers went on strike during the Southeast Alaska State Fair. He decided to remain in Haines and sold pretzels from his trailer on Main Street through the first week of September.
