Howser’s IGA manager Kevin Shove accepts the “Customer Service” award from the Haines Chamber of Commerce during their fundraiser dinner Saturday. Alaska Seaplanes won the year’s “Business of the Year.” Haynes and Katie Tormey won the “Rising Star” award for their business Haines Industrial Supply. The Haines Volunteer Fire Department won the “Citizen of the Year” award.
