Big thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Southeast AK Fair LCC booth a fun, dynamic success! Generous local businesses donated excellent and tempting raffle prizes, and thereby generated a much-appreciated funding boost for LCC. Thanks to Sockeye Cycle, Alaska Backcountry Outfitters, Haines Brewing Company, Rainbow Glacier Adventures, Liz Maranz-Falvey, and Debi Knight-Kennedy for your ongoing support!. Alyssa Wallace lassoed up a great group of volunteers to sell merchandise, talk shop and paint faces. The visiting crews from SEACC and Sitka Conservation Society, plus drop-ins from the LCC board kept it lively all day long. Special thanks to every single person who took the time to stop and talk, to donate, and especially to share your visions and concerns about this amazing and precious valley we call home.
