A Small Tracts Road resident reported a sow and two cubs in trash. Wildlife troopers were advised.
A Deishu Drive resident reported a missing chainsaw. The caller later reported finding the chainsaw under a pile of toys in the yard.
A caller asked who to call for a vehicle jump-start. Dispatch provided a local business phone number.
An artist working on a school mural reported someone had carved penises into the mural overnight. The artist asked officers to conduct extra patrols overnight.

A Mud Bay Road caller reported a sow with three cubs. Troopers were advised.
A caller asked police to conduct extra patrols on Front Street for parking violations.
A caller asked police to conduct extra patrols in the Chilkoot Indian Association subdivision where bear scat had been spotted near a house.
A person reported a possible drunk driver on Mud Bay Road. Police located the vehicle in Fort Seward, investigated and found no sign the driver was drunk.
A caller reported a brown bear and cub near the fairgrounds. Troopers were advised.
A business near the intersection of Third Avenue and Main Street asked police help with a suspicious man in the building. Police helped the man find information about a hostel.
Wednesday, Aug. 13
A business owner at Second Avenue and Main Street asked police to perform a walkthrough due to a suspicious man behaving oddly. Police investigated and the man left.
A person reported a sow had charged a man at the dump on FAA Road. The man was unhurt and retreated to the office.
A caller on Mud Bay Road reported an ATV driving on the beach. When the caller told the ATV driver it was illegal to ride there, the driver made an obscene gesture and sped away. Police were unable to locate the vehicle or driver.
A caller reported a cub looking for its mother on Fair Drive. The caller said she gave a ride to a child who had been walking on the road.
A person reported a woman had assaulted and verbally threatened a juvenile near the Oceanview Drive area. Police investigated and determined a domestic assault hadn’t occurred. Police initiated a case to document the dispute.
Tuesday, Aug. 12
A caller reported a young man with a backpack was sitting under the table at the post office and appeared to be in distress. Police responded and found the man was homeless, cold, wet and needing shelter. Ministerial services provided a room for the night.
A person reported a young man with a backpack on Main Street yelling angrily at no one. Police had already contacted the man at the post office.
A caller reported a fuel spill in British Columbia. Canadian police were advised.
A caller reported a trespass might occur on a property near the intersection of Union Street and Fourth Avenue. The person called back to say the man was in the area. Police responded and gave a warning for disorderly conduct.
A person reported a young man yelling and swearing on Sawmill Road. Police contacted the man and found he was alert, oriented and caring for himself.
A caller reported a vehicle parked, impeding traffic on Piedad Road. Police responded and found the vehicle not blocking traffic.
A caller reported two people parked at Oslund Park talking loudly and going in and out of a trailer. Dispatch said police were unable to respond. The person called back after the vehicle had left to suggest the identities of the loud people. Dispatch said an officer would be notified.
