I wanted to say thank you to the crew at the Southeast Alaska State Fair for all the hard work that was put in to make this a very successful and fun event! So many hands make this event happen. I also am grateful to have been given the opportunity to share a nourishing morning yoga session at the park stage on Sunday morning. Most of all, I wanted to publicly thank my husband Scott Ramsey for the fantastic entertainment. He puts so much thought into the flow of the music and searching out these incredible musicians. Months of planning goes into solidifying the high-quality entertainment and organizing travel, lodging and many other logistics to get these entertainers to Haines smoothly. It is a huge feat and there are many behind-the-scenes elements at all hours of the day and night, and I admire Scott’s gift at being able to problem solve quickly and also create an incredible connection with these guests. They all rave about Haines and the good vibes of love here. That energy was palpable on the dance floor! Let’s continue to let those good vibes and love shine in our community.
