Haines’ fermented foods fans turned out to share in an inspiring presentation by Sandor Katz this weekend and learn to make sauerkraut at the ANB Hall. Haines was one stop on Sandor’s tour of four towns in northern Southeast Alaska where locals also enjoyed treating him to our favorite places and activities – and sunshine!
