A few points about the landfill debate:
1. Government should not be forcing a private business out of business and people out of their livelihoods. Government should buy that business if they really want to get into that business.
2. If the borough thought there were problems at the landfill, the borough should have contacted the Department of Environmental Conservation. Did they? No. That seems to me (and I’m an expert on big borough staff…
