A motorist found a bag of trash on Third Avenue and brought it to the station. Dispatch disposed of the garbage.
Four callers reported they had received phone calls from someone claiming to be their grandson and requesting bail money. The calls were determined to be fraudulent. Police do not think a local person is responsible and advise the public to be aware.
