On behalf of the Haines Borough, I wish to extend a sincere Thank You to all the volunteers who helped make the Triple Threat Basketball Tournament a fun and exciting time for the kids who participated. There is no possible way to organize such an event without the help of so many gifted individuals willing to share their time and talents. A sincere thank you to our coaching staff, whose dedication and professionalism has no match; to those who kept the clock and score stats; to our courageous referees willing to make the calls; to the chefs who manned the galley preparing meals and suffering dish pan hands; to the tireless concession stand organizers; to the ever present silent service of those who cleaned, mopped and disposed of the refuse; to the parents, families and friends who brought food, cookies and cakes; to those who occupied the stands, cheering and encouraging our young athletes; and to our Haines School, borough and Mayor for your never ending interest and support for our youth.
