Haines People for Peace would like to thank all those who helped make our community’s celebration of International Day of Peace a rich and multifaceted experience that actually lasted all week! Special thanks to Patty Brown, Lea Harris, Leanne Converse, Cindy Buxton, Heidi Robichaud, Mandy Ramsey, Jeanne Kitiyama, Julie Rae, the High School choir, Haines Acapella Choir, Nora Prisciandaro, Matilda Rogers, the K-5 students and teachers, Klukwan School students and staff and last but not least all those who attended the peace brunch, peace hike, peace yoga, peace rocks and peace and the arts celebrations.
