Thank you to the sponsors, volunteers and participants who made the fourth annual Totem Trot a success. This annual fundraiser for the Haines Sheldon Museum had 79 participants, including the Glacier Bears’ cross-country team, and 24 volunteers who helped ensure the runners and walkers made it around the course safely. “It was better than last year,” said participant Daniel Shier of Whitehorse, who won the half marathon. Participants raved about the beautiful course and how much fun it was to run it. A special thank you to our 24 totem pole sponsors who made the event possible. All of the sponsors, participants and finish times are listed at http://www.totemtrot.com. Thank you everyone for making the Totem Trot bigger and better each year!
