A caller reported he wanted help removing a motor home and vehicle from his property that had been parked there for two days. Police checked the vehicles and said the caller could get the vehicles towed through a private company.
A Tower Road resident reported someone stole eight gallons of gas from his snowmachine. Officers are investigating.

U.S. Customs reported a traveler left his passport at the border station. Police located the man and relayed the message.
A traffic stop resulted in a citation for speeding.
Sunday, July 12
A caller on Fourth Avenue asked police to relay a personal message to her ex-boyfriend about a dog he bought her. The caller was told police don’t relay messages of that nature.
A caller on the Haines Highway reported a bear standing on a pickup truck parked on her property. There was a bag of smelly garbage in the back of the truck. The bear left, but the caller was concerned it might come back. Police told the caller to store the garbage somewhere secure and dispose of it as soon as possible.
Three traffic stops resulted in three warnings for speeding and a citation for failure to carry proof of insurance.
Saturday, July 11
A caller reported she struck and injured a baby fox with her vehicle near 25 Mile Haines Highway. Troopers were advised.
An anonymous person reported a domestic dispute in the Helms Loop area. The person called back to say she was fine and didn’t want to press charges, but wanted her property back. Officers contacted the woman, but she didn’t want to talk to police.
A traffic stop at 6 Mile Lutak Road resulted in the arrest of a 33-year-old man for driving with a suspended license. The man was cited and released.
Friday, July 10
A resident reported someone broke all the windows in an abandoned building on his Lutak Road property. Police are investigating the criminal mischief case.
A caller reported hearing a dozen gunshots on Fair Drive. Police investigated and found the noises were from fireworks. The caller was advised.
Two traffic stops resulted in a warning for speeding and a citation for speeding.
Thursday, July 9
A person reported an abandoned motorcycle on Sawmill Road. Police responded.
A 911 caller near 26 Mile Haines Highway reported her child ate a poisonous baneberry. She was advised to call poison control.
Multiple callers reported a power outage in the townsite. Public Works was advised.
A local airline asked a message be relayed to the clinic.
A caller reported hearing a dozen gunshots near Barnett Road. Police investigated and determined the noises were caused by fireworks. The caller was advised.

Wednesday, July 8
An anonymous caller reported a Deishu Drive resident was constantly leaving campfires unattended. Police were notified.
A bear was reported at a 0 Mile Haines Highway RV park. An officer patrolled the area and advised the bear was headed toward the Southeast Alaska State Fair.
Police responded to an unexpected death in the Fort Seward area. Officers are investigating the death of a 29-year-old woman. Police found no signs of foul play and transferred the case to the medical examiner’s office for a cause of death determination.
A traffic stop on Deishu Drive resulted in the citation of a 15-year-old juvenile for driving without a license and the arrest of an 18-year-old woman for permitting an unlicensed person to drive. The woman was cited and released.
Tuesday, July 7
A person reported the theft of a marine fuel tank from a Third Avenue parking lot. Police responded.
Police reported a fire in a Lutak Road culvert. Fire crews determined the fire was under control.
Two traffic stops resulted in warnings for speeding.
