Bike to School Day a community event

Thank you to everyone who helped with the “Ride Your Bike to School Day” at Haines School. We especially appreciate those who came early to help set up the course and those who brought tools and helped tune up students’ bikes! Thank you to bike mechanics from Sockeye Cycle and Mike’s Bikes and Boards, and to Lizi Wirak, Vince Hanson, Jim Green, Jenn Walsh, Jeremy Reed, Chip and Heather Lende, Haines Police Department, Josh Wheeler and all the staff at the school. Thank you to the many students who rode their bikes to school on that day! It was truly a community effort and we appreciate everyone’s support and participation.
