Sweethearts have plenty of options for Valentine’s Day.

The Presbyterian Church holds its annual Valentine’s Tea starting 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Women of all ages are invited to the free event which features treats and finger sandwiches.

Later on Saturday, Chilkat Valley Preschool is offering a surf and turf Valentine’s dinner starting 5:30 p.m. at Harriett Hall. The event benefits the new school construction project. It features food by caterer Deana Stout, live music, a photo booth and a dessert auction. Tickets are available at the Babbling Book or by calling 314-0576.

On Sunday, Feb. 12, Haines School music students will hold their annual fine-dining fundraiser for the high school music department. Seatings are 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the school cafeteria. The event will feature chicken and fettucine alfredo by school chef Dick Haas and performances by Madeline Andriesen, Rachel Haas and Alyx Habra. The Man Choir also will perform. Tickets are available through music students or music teacher Jason Muccino at 766-6745.

Dinner and a movie will be offered starting 5 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, at the Chilkat Center, a benefit for the Haines Sheldon Museum. A Greek meal will be prepared by Helen Alten and her family. The event will feature the film “Mediterraneo,” winner of a 1991 Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. Tickets may be purchased at the museum or the Babbling Book.
